I have a 2018 F-450 that I use to tow my 5er. I noticed, in the towing portion of the settings screen, an option for trailer tire pressure sensors. When I select this option the message back is that there are no pressure sensors configured.

Question is:

Does this mean that the truck will indeed monitor trailer tire pressures if configured to do so? If so, which sensors are compatible with the truck? Do I need the dealer to turn something on?

I use TST pressure sensors on the trailer nd am wondering if they would work?

You need the Ford sensors. They have a setup available with a trailer mounted backup camera. It is wired though, not wireless. If you have a setup with the TST and you like it, I would stick with it. The Ford version is a bit on the expensive side. I have the camera, but not the tire sensors, and I like it, but I had nothing before. So unless you just want to be all integrated through the Sync, stick with what you have.
