I need to get new tires for my 99 f350 Crew cab DRW. I spend most of the time on road or in the snow. I have have a #3500 camper I haul. I am thinking BFG T/A are a good choice.

Your thoughts ?

Since you have a DRW truck I will respond with Michelin XPS traction on all six for the snow. Excellent mileage, not noisey for the tread and excellent traction in all conditions. Pricey yes but very dependable and long lived. My rears will be going over 100K miles for sure and the front would have gone 50-60 K miles if my alignment were better.

On edit: Actually, my front went 48K miles and had a lot of tread less. So I would guess 80K miles if the alignment were better.

Michelin LTX M/S for me. Any of the LTX line is a great truck tire. I did a lot of research before I bought mine and found them to be one of the best truck tires made. I have used the BFG T/A's on my 1/2 ton, but for a DRW I wanted a different type of tire. Mine are great in the mud and snow and many are getting 80K+ out of a set, won't get that out of the T/A's.

I just replaced a set of BFG T/A's on my truck. Only got a little over 40K out of them. They did not wear well at all. Cupped out bad on outside edges. I replace them with a set of BFG Commercial T/A. They ride very well and are very quiet. I have about 10K on them now and they still look new. No cupping is showing up as yet. Im satisfied so far.

How often did you rotate those bfg t/a's?
