It's time for new shoes on the truck and was wanting to know what tires you guys would recommend. I would like something aggressive for mud and such for hunting season but also wears well for pavement and as little road noise as possible since it is my daily drive. It is completely stock with 18's. TIA

Dont know if they make them in your size, but GoodYEar Wrangler MT/Rs are good ones for your needs, can be pricey tho

I myself will NEVER buy another Goodyear tire, for your needs I would recommend the BFG T/A's, for a awesome highway tire and mild offroad the Michelin LTX M/S's are one of the best truck tires made today. Many are getting 80K+ out of a set, they do fine when I go deer hunting off road, but they are not a serious off road tire. They aren't cheap either but good tires aren't cheap and cheap tires aren't good. Do a search, tires are a popular topic discussed often.

Another vote for Cooper ATR's, I'll never own anything else. Great road manners with plenty for off road situations, and they're awesome in the snow.

+2 on the cooper's there made locally in findlay ohio just down the road from me, and there a great tire ive got a set of cooper discoverer stt 35x12.50 R18's ive had em for about 10,000 miles and cant even tell that theyve worn any (make sure you rotate them every oil change to ensure that they last as long as possible...as you should with any tire...) A little noisy, but not bad at all for mud tires, they look great and perform as good as they look, mud, snow and pulling they have treated me very well so far....

I just put on some Mickey Thompson MT tires on my truck. I wanted some good off road traction. They handle nice on the road. Little bit noisy. The bad thing is I think they cost me 1-2 mpg. If I would do it again, I would use a set of Cooper AT tires

I've had a lot of great experiences with Michelin LTX M/S 285/75/16. Good tire for a 6-ply and over 60,000 miles (hwy and city). Another great tire is the Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ. You'll get great milage from them. I've got the 285s on there, stock height, with PLENTY of room. I've seen people put a 35" tire on a 2003 F250 FX4 with no additional height. My next step is to run a 35" tire with a 1" Skyjacker add-a-leaf on the front (no spacers available b/c that year truck did not have coil springs). Plus, M/T is doing a "Buy 3, Get 1 Free" promotion with most distributors. Ask your local truck shop for details.
