I'm looking for a 33" aggressive tire e-rated for 16" rim for my dually. Everthing seems to be D rated at that size. Any ideas?

I've seen a few Hankooks the RF10 a/t and the RT03 m/t.

My buddy is using a set of dayton timberline m/t on his 1999 F350. He owns a well drilling company so he is pulling goosenecks nearly every day and these things will flat out eat the mud, and still offer a decent ride. So far they are the best tires he has owned, and his truck is approaching 260K miles.

Hope this helps!

Size LT285/75R16E. BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A® KO makes it, exactly 33" diameter. Requires a rim at least 7.5" wide, but lots of folks run them on stock SRW 7" wide rims. But that's way too wide a tire to mount on your stock 6" wide Dooley rims.

But you are misinformed if you think you need load range E in a 33" tire. Lots of folks make LT285/75R16D, which has a weight capacity of 3,305 pounds @ 65PSI. The LT285/75R16E has a weight capacity of 3,750 @ 80 PSI.

3,305 pounds on one tire is 6,610 pounds on the front axle and 13,220 pounds on the rear axle of you Dooley. If you ever have even close to that much weight on one of your truck axles, you are going to be severely overloaded and should have your butt kicked for endangering others on the road with you.

So no, you don't need to pay the premium price to get load range E in an oversized tire. But it's available if you insist.

That's a rare, expensive tire, so dealers may not keep it in stock. They may even try to tell you that BFGoodrich doesn't make it. So print out the sizes/specs of the All-Terrain and take it with you to the store to show them it's available.

A few manufacturers have the 255/85R16 with aggressive tread in load range E. They're about 33" diameter. I haven't tried it myself (yet), but a search around the forums here seems to indicate that they'll work on the 6"-wide dually rims.

Parnelli Jones makes aggressive tread tires for dually's. If you go to the Skyjacker website they have a dually truck with their z-link suspension installed and the tires they used on the truck were Parnelli Jones. They are however much larger than 33's. As for load rating, I'm not sure what they are. That Skyjacker truck looks awesome however.

These are the tires I have in load class e. However I heard they are no longer offered.
