I have a cross bed tool box in my truck.
What ideas do you have for keeping it organized, instead of the big block hole that I have? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif

what I have done to mine is take 1/8" aluminum flat stock and make brackets out of it to hold spray cans like wd40 and stuff like that then on the other side I made a bracket to fit gallon containers like oil and anti freeze jugs to keep that stuff from rolling around. I also went to the surplus store and bought some ammon cans and i put all my chains in one and rachet straps in another and then i have one for zip ties and extra wire stuff like that. also one more that i keep various hand tools in like fence pliers and rachets and sockets screwdrivers. all of this still hasn't help my cause it just seems like I get more and more stuff that I need to carry with me all the time. I hope you have beeter luck than I do at keeping your box organized.

P.s. I also put lights in the lid of my tool box so I can see without having to hold a flashlight

ive got a few milk crates and various sized coffee cans within those for smaller stuff like light bulbs, fuses, etc.
