I was looking for the location of the remote transmission filter. It is not located by the radiator like it was on the pre '08 SD. I don't see anything that looks like the old filter canister. Did they do away with it?

I got to take a look myself and locate it. I think though that it is mounted forward of the transmission bell housing, kind of tucked up near the back of the engine. I certainly may be wrong, but that location seems to be sticking in my very weak memory circuit.

yah some trucks have it some dont its right under the bell housing. aabout 3" round canister.
