I am looking for ways to lower my tranny temps and while sitting under the truck..... I noticed a couple of things.... first of all the hard lines are clamped together. So the hot one is touching the cooler one... which has got to transfer a little bit of heat. I also noticed that the lines are exposed to the heat from the motor/oilpain and the down pipe. Have any of you put some of the reflective sheathing over the lines?

As I recall the t.shift has bigger fluid pump, bigger lines. Has better cooling capacity VS previous a/t which allows it to cool fluid better.

What your asking, I dont know. It might not be worth the effort? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif
