My 08 has 236000 on it (weights 10500). My torque converter has a problem as its locked up all the time and I can hear a noise every now and then (tinney sound). My question is do I throw a CONVERTER in it or a complete trans? I'm thinking I got good life out of it so replace it?

I'd explore a reman from ford and also from Sun Coast. See who can do the better price.
