Will the dealership change my integrated tow brake out since I have a late 2004 build date on my 2005? My brake does not work before 10mph and this is becoming a problem. I understand that the brake is now made to work while hooked up to the trailer, even below 10mph. I appreciate your help.

Mine did.I made it a point to discribe how i use my truck(towing a 5th wheel)and the process of hooking up and doing the pull test.I made it real clear i bought this truck to tow and the fact that the brake system wouldn't work as it should was a saftey issue.I was nice about it and they didn't give me any grief over it.BTW its a real easy job to do(plug and play). They just installed an updated unit from a mid year 05 and it works perfectly.
