I found a killer deal on a 15 year old Ram 5500 that was used to haul hay on a farm. I'm thinking it would be great to haul the fifth wheel toy haulers I've been looking at, but it dawned on me that the 16 foot bed might be too long to install a fifth wheel hitch.

Is it possible to install a fifth wheel hitch onto a 16 foot flatbed in order to tow, say, a Weekend Warrior 3705?

Length of bed may be an issue unless frame was also stretched. Please remember you want the pin over the rear axle. Distance to end of flatbed not really relevant except for clearance. Depending on where the extra bed is located you may have to have the bed shortened...
