I just posted about an error code so might as well do this. Trailer, GN, has electric over hydraulic disc brakes, i.e. custom wiring. Those work really really well and I recommend them. From experience what I will say is take the male & female connectors apart. Replace the bare wire with ring connectors. This time we were close to home and I had parts. Pictures make it easier to rewire. Last time the hot wire for the brakes got loose and was making the brakes lock up. Pulled the custom fuse for them and came home with lights but no brakes. Perhaps 60 miles of flat ground with little traffic. Doable but not my idea of fun.
