I don't see what chip you are running in your sig. I have a special econ tow program in mine that is econ tow up to 2/3 throttle then transitions to perfortmance tow. EGTs run very reasonable, fuel mileage is improved over stock and power is much higher than stock./ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif My econ tow program dynos higher than my no load econ program. If your tow program isn't any more powerful than stock I question the quality of the programming. Towing in economy should be OK, especially if you watch your EGT.

that would be a good question for whoever you bought your chip from
i believe that there may be some slight changes in transmission programming as well as the obvious engine enhancements.
i think many of the tow modes are "safe" for those without gauges

Last time out, I towed (16' car hauler carrying a built Jeep) with my DP chip in 80 econ instead of 60 tow. The only "problem" I had was the boost shot up to 30 psi under heavy acceleration. My EGTs were very manageable and I didn't notice any significant change in tranny temps, which might have been indicative of excess slipage.
