Pop the sail panel off the door, (Small triangle) there will be rubber plugs under that. Remove those. Should be 4 bolts holding the mirror. (You first need to remove the door panel too, One bolt under the switch panel, one behind the door handle. And one down behind the reflector. Once you have those out, lift the door panel straight up... and out. Pretty simple and straight forward.

Drive into the service area of your Ford dealer. Spot the service manager and shout, "Hey, Randy, can you have Tony replace my right-side trailer tow mirror with the one you ordered for me last week?"

My out-the-door bill included $24.50 for labor. Best $24.50 I ever spent. :)

Tony had done a few of those before, so it didn't take him long.

The new mirror manually telescopes, and folds either forward or backward. So there should be less chance of me tearing it off when backing out of the garage. But the new mirror cost me $175 plus tax. :( Plus the install labor. :)
