Hello All, I have been following this page for some time now with no issues to discuss until today. Went on a weekend mbiking trip five hours from here for the weekend. When we arrived home I performed my usual inspection of my truck and noticed a little seepage around the tranny pan. Not enough to produce a drip, but enough for me to be concerned. Trans temp was around 180* there and back, so she didn't get hot. I did check the fluid and it seemed a little high for my liking. Is there some type of blow off device for the tranny to relieve excess fluid? Is it is possible the pan gasket all of a sudden decided to leak. Last tranny service was 10,000 miles ago. Any ideas?

No, the fluid is pretty, nice red tint and smells good. I have 124,000 on it and I changed the fluid every 30,000 since new.
