I have a 2001 f-250 4x4 with the automatic transmission. When I go from forward to reverse sometimes my motor pulls down like my torque converter is not unlocking. I can let of the accelerator pedal and then press it again and it disengages and goes just fine. Anyone else have this problem or now how to fix it?

do a search on "mechanical diode" as i've heard that people with '01's had a problem with these. i'm not saying this is your problem, but maybe if you find some info. on it, you may find the symptons you're talking about.
