What is the correct fluid for a 6.0 Trans. Mercon SP or LV?

Either or works. Not sure if you have to do a complete flush when switching between them though.

Mark What about using Maxlife ATF in my 06. It has the original oil in it. I was going to drain and fill with ML and change the pan and filter to the 08 style. If I do this twice will the little bit of old oil in the system be a problem.

Maxlife should be OK. If you change the fluid twice you'll have about 75% new and 25% old fluids. As long as the old fluid isn't burnt or worn out that should work fine.
