Where do I install the trans oil temp sensor? I was told there is a spot already for it.

Some of these grumpy old guys(your only as old as you feel:thumbsup:) don't want to retype what they talked about 5 years ago so they want you to work for it. It does clog up the forum when you have 73 posts of people looking for trans temp sensor locations though...

Can't get in the way of the good stuff, I just did a 3 guage install on my truck.. haha

Yeah, Just after I put the 3 guage pod in I got to thinking about all the things I could do with a fourth pod... oh well.

on avg. What does your Tranny gauge read?

My temp while driving unloaded and not towing is typically around: AMBIENT TEMP plus 100 DEGREES. This is approximate.

Your TorqShift trans will run different temps than a 4R100. The TorqShift has a thermostat with a nominal temperature of 165F. The 4R100 does not have a thermostat, so it is more closely linked to ambient temperature.
