I have about 100,000 miles on my truck and about as year ago I noticed when the weather was hot and I put it in reverse it would lug the motor down a little bit when I started to move. Just recently it is started to do it when I put it in drive once in a while. It's an automatic and I took it to a trans shop and they said not to worry about. But somthing is going on and I don't want it to go while I'm pulling my 5 wheel. My trans temp is good, around 180 on hot days. But I don't know if it is the trans or torque converter. I'm also looking for a good trans guy in the Los Angles area. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
