Hello everyone my truck has an e4OD and about 3 weeks ago I replaced the transfer case because it crapped out and then about a week after my OD light started flashing and shifts hard from park to drive and from first to second, I know when it flashes because it's in limp mode and if I unhook my batteries and hook then back up to clear the code it'll drive perfectly fine and won't shift hard and won't flash, I replaced my fipl sensor and tachometer but really only had to replace tach and still no luck my fipl is adjusted correctly and my transmission has plenty of fluid, also the OD light flashes all the time when it comes on even in park, has anyone else had a problem like this? Any help is appreciated

You have an electrical circuit problem with the converter clutch solenoid. It could be a bad solenoid, but it almost always is a damaged wire between the PCM and the transmission connector on the passenger's side of the trans.

Back when I dealt with this I found that the connector was very corroded-maybe you'll get lucky and it's as simple as that-I seem to remember Ford changing the material in the connector at some point to solve this...

The connector is on the passengers side next to the exhaust pipe, it has or should have a tin shield over it, if the shield is gone the wires insulation can melt and sometimes short out if they become twisted. Squeeze the connector latch and pull out using the wires to pull. If the connector is full of fluid, the whole solenoid pack has to be changed, you cannot repair the seal. Check the pins for corrosion, clean them.

A weird Side note on the tranny connector under the heat shield. I had a tiny post of pot metal that had broken off (possibly from the factory as the connector didn't look like it had ever been apart) but it would not seat down and engage the lock once I got it loose...takes an inspection mirror to look down into it while on the truck but if you have trouble getting it to seat or "click" you might take a look, granting if you're cleaning it all out you should be looking anyway.

I've been super busy-the above response were spot on describing my connector issue-any luck with codes yet-as Mark stated above that's what you need-and he can probably give you the most help here in determining your problem...
