2015 F450 P/U now has 63,000 miles, loaded 90% of time with 45' Toy hauler fifth wheel. (20,000# +). Should I have the Tranny fluid and filter service done, my dealer said no? I am inclined to do it.

I tend to agree with dealer. Do a search for transmission flush should bring up information to use for making your final decision.

If you drain the pan and replace the filter, you are going to replace approx 8qt of fluid of the approx 16qt in the transmission, lines and convertor. To do a flush, the company doing the flush needs to have a heated flush machine as the transmission has a thermostat that diverts fluid from the cooler and will prevent most flush machines from changing the fluid in total.

DIY: Drain the pan, add fresh fluid, be happy.

Just get them to do a flush at the dealer and pay for it. I've see people post $200+ for a dealership flush with the proper machine.
