I have a stock 05 350 and it is shifting very hard pulling under a lot of weight(Fluids are new). I am afraid it will take a crap in the future like the last tranny in the other truck. I was wondering any upgrades people would recommend (torque converter, shift kit,???) not sure, any ideas, thoughts, recommendations, contacts would be appreciated. thanks

most tranny upgrades will firm shifts up, opposed to softening them. your best bet would be to start out trying a trans tune with a SCT, and if it doesnt fix things, look elsewhere. the sct's $400 tag is a lot more attractive than your other options also...

I would go with mechanical upgrades first before solely relying on a programmer. They can only do so much to control shifts and slippage. At least do a valve body or sonnex kit (6.0???). You'll do yourself a favor. After you've done at least that then go with a programmer to control your shifts.
