You can get bilstein 7100 or Edelbrock Xtreme IAS or Fabtech 2.25 or PowerComp standdard reservoir or the more expensive MX6R shocks. These are all avalible with soft or medium valving. The soft valving is for multi-shock applications thus allowing you to have the muti-shock look with a smooth ride. The common mistake most people make is that they just use regular stiff shocks for multiple shock applications and experience a rough ride. Places you can find shocks are: www.4wheelparts.com or www.performanceproducts4trucks.com or www.eshocks.com. Hope this helps! RLG

no it doesnt. dual setups are best used for prerunner purposes. if its a street rig, buy 1 nice shock for each wheel.

A certain amount of force is required to deflect a shock. Add a second and more force is required. And so on... 99-04 SDs already have a high spring rate which is resistant to movement so these require very little compression dampening. However they do require greater rebound dampening in order to slow the energy release of the springs following compression. Application specific shocks such as Bilstein 5100s and Donahoe Racing Signature Series feature very soft compression valving and a high flow digressive piston design as well as greater rebound dampening developed specifically for Superdutys.
