I just checked my trouble codes on my 01 Super Duty. I am getting a P0603 Internal ctrl Mod KAM Error. Can anyone tell me what this is? I had cleared the code a couple of times but keeps coming up. Check engine light is not on.

Fill in the info on your truck in your signature. Some of your mods may be causing this. It will make it easier for people to help you out

Quit clearing it and it will go away.
Run for a few days and check it again, and it should be gone.

Your chip is likely clearing the PCM KAM at key on. Only way to be sure is to remove the chip, clear codes, drive it and recheck. If you follow the pin point test, it will have you replace the PCM - probably unnecessarily....
