Hello...

I own a 2004 F-250 6.0L. As I was driving down the interstate and lost complete power. Tried to restart and it just kept cranking. It is sitting in a ford shop right now. They checked all injectors, and they are good. They are telling me it is the high pressure pump. I just want to know if it could be anything else. And in 04 they are showing to different part #s for the pump. One starting with the 3c3z, and the other is 4c3z. Are these pumps interchangeable, and does this sound like the problem?

I would check the wiring harness. Been a known problem

it most likely is the high pressure pump because my buddy has an 03 6.0 and had the same thing happen to him.
