hey guys i stop to get fuel, went about 6 miles and truck quit, pulled over and it want crank back it turns over but will not crank stranded again, had truck for 5 days, only has 35000 miles on it can u help

could be the HPOP (high pressure oil pump). I had one go out on me like that on an previous pickup with 7.3. The 6.0 works of the same kind of system. It shut down like someone reached over and turned off the key. It would also crank but would not start. It's not a for sure thing, but it's possible. Could be other stuff too.

Did it just stop running, or did it sputter & die, like the fuel got choked off? Have you checked the fuel to sse if there's any junk or water in it?

With an 05 it might be the STC fitting that leads to the HPOP. If it sits for awhile & cools down, will it start? I'm not sure what you mean by "...it want crank back it turns over but will not crank..." Does it not turn over at all when you turn the key, or does it crank, but not fire? There may also be a wiring harness short.

i checked the fuel its fine the fillter is full and getting fuel, i turn the key and it cranks but it want fire, it just quit, no sputtering,missing or anything
