The Tach input signal changed in 2002 with the new instrument cluster. I would suggest a CPS also. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Truck wont start
Buddies 2000 F-350 PSD wouldnt start this morning. He drove back from Arizona yesterday and said that during the trip, it sputtered twice but ran fine the rest of the way.
This morning he got in and it would turn over but not fire. I told him it sounded like the CPS. I am not sure about the model year in which this trick works but I told him to watch the tach to see if it moves while he is cranking. If it didnt move, the CPS was bad. I did not guarantee this though.
