TS Performance manufactures the Six position chips that are used throughout the diesel market.

You can choose Six different hp settings. Choices are stock, hi-idle, valet, anti-theft, 50, 75, 100, & the TS Extreme. The only info you will need when you order is the year of your truck & whether it is a manual or auto. You should also specify any mods you may already have.

If you have any questions give us a call here at TS or you can contact one of the TS dealers here that sponsor the site. You can PM me for a list of Diesel Stop TS Sponsors.

Hope this helps.

I work at a local shop that installs all different types of programmers/chips. We are really happy with the TS products. Call up DPPI and they can set you up with a good deal.

I have a TS 6-pos on my 96. I like a lot. Only issue I have is sometimes if I idle too long it deactivates the chip somehow and I have to turn the truck off and back on to get the chip to work again. Not a big deal and hasn't happened in a few months now.

I like mine. The sponsors that sell them in my experience stand behind them and if that can't answer questions the people at TS performance are very willing to help.

Does anyone know about TS Performance chips? are they any good? im trying to deside between them and a DP Tuner chip.

Why are you tryin to decide between the two?
You CAN'T go wrong with Dp-Tuner. I know TS has refined their tunes recently and most who have them say they make good power.
Also, I know Jody does A LOT of testing, R&D, and so forth. I know he knows how to make it run, shift, and most of all be refined and safe power. Jody has a lot of experience tuning for trucks with PMR's.

While we're at it, don't rule out Diesel Innovations. Dirty Dave knows plenty about tuning and everyone who I've talked to who has their chips love them.

It's a hard decision, just close your eyes and pick one....

pssssst, *cough* dp tuner *cough*

??? The TS performance 6-pos chips plug directly into the PCM just like Dp-Tuner. In fact, a Dp chip IS a TS chip, just with Jody's brand and burns.

You have to plug a 'chip' into the PCM, a 'tuner' plugs into the diagnostic port under the dash. Generally

if you go with the flip chip you have to pull the ecm out and plug in the chip to the rear of the ecm.........if you want to use a programmer such as a superchips hypermax diablo etc etc you can use them on the factory plug in that you use to scan for codes but if you want selectable power on the fly yuou should get a flip chip.........i personally love my dp tuner /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif

your probably thinking of a programmer which just plugs in under the dash. to install the 6 pos, you must pull the pcm to clean the terminal.

I have a TS 6 pos and it makes great power for a truck my size. Never a problem with Dennis and his staff. I have had TS flash it twice for TC lock up and trans tunes on fuel 7. Awesome folks outta Kentucy to deal with... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smokin.gif
