My 08 6.4 was running fine. Parked her for the night climbed in and the check engine light was on. Called dealer he said bring it in. Tried to drive it ther and it would surge, and had NO power. Iwas afrid to leave the nighborhood so went back into house called roadside and towed it to dealer.

Dealer called and said "turbo bowl" and manifold is bad and have to be replaced. Had to order part, and it is on National back order. Anyone here have more info what is he talking about? Why national back order? anyone else have this issue?

That is the third time i heard that phrase this week. I wonder if Ford is not keeping a stock of parts to same money. Just order what they need and have it drop shipped to the dealers directly from who ever...

Some what unrelated but a guy here at work has a 2007 F-150...Recently the blend door went bad on it so the heater in the cab is hit and miss...this part was also on national back order...weird
