While checking for boost leaks I found the rubber intake that connects the CCV to the inlet of the turbo was leaking, or in this case making soapy bubbles.

I know this hose is actually in a vacuum when the truck is running but, should it leak under 20psi? I don't like the idea that it can pull air in there instead of the air filter! Just wanted to check and see if anyone else has seen this, the intake tube looks to be in good shape and the clamp is very tight!

I've never even checked that hose. I always pull off the entire intake and apply air to the turbo itself. Guess you could pull the hose and put a light coat of silicone on the interface and re-install it. I can't imagine much air gets in there, but it would be unfiltered.

You can always get riffraffs ccv kit and vent to the atmosphere. That will eliminate the tube going into the intake
