Howdy,

Getting ready to install the turbo master tonight and was wondering what others have done with the actuator line from the stock actuator?

Plug it?

Also, any tips or tricks in installing it?

Thanks

Chuck,

Are you just doing the swap from facory waste gate to Turbo Master or are you changing housings? If you ordered this kit from Bob you should have a little plastic ball incuded that you push into the red boost tube. I did that and just moved my boost tube over and out ofb the way. You should also have good directions and illustrations with it. Do yourself a favor and pick up a pack of cingular linkage clips to use from Napa. They come with 2 1/4" clips and 2 1/8" clips if I remember right. You'll see which one is the correct size. It will slide right on the pin once you have the Turbo Master in place and the lever slid through the pin. Then you do not have to worry about losing the factory clip either as it is a pita to remove! Just make sure you have the lever lined up and ran right. It has to be ran correct in order to be able to slide the clip on it. Also, once bolted on and clipped on you should be able to grab the lever and move it freely with your hand. It should not bind up or hit anything. Other than that it will bolt up to the housing very easily.

Thanks for the tips.

I am just changing out the actuator. I actually have not looked closely at the kit yet.

The pack of clips that Jeff mentioned are p/n 7352640 at NAPA, for quick reference. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
