Does anyone have any feedback on mileage improvements after turbo install on a N/A engine? If so was IP adjusted up?

Thanks

Mileage will go DOWN when you FIRST install a turbo. It will come back up when you learn to stop enjoying it so much. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif The best I've gotten is 23MPG with the Moose Truck.

I have looked at Banks, ATS & Hypermax and am leaning toward Banks or ATS. The ATS appears to be a few hundred dollars cheaper. Banks says their power and mileage claims are based on no IP adjustment, atleast the guy I talked to. I have heard varying opinions on whether that is neccessary. The engine only has about 20k on it since a .020 over rebuild so the time is good but it is a big investment. Thanks for your input

That part in RED bothers me a little. These engines already have a cavitation problem due to thin cylinder walls, and you go and make them thinner, then you want to add a turbo which will make the walls flex even more? You'd better be dang sure to keep the SCAs up to the max recommended level in the coolant!!! Just my opinion though. good luck, /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smokin.gif OkieGringo

Go ATS!
I tried all the banks stuff. I was more impressed with the ATS products. Espically since Banks is starting to quit stocking all our IDI stuff.
My factory turbo/Aurora 2000 truck has been getting around 18-20. But like previously stated, If I put my foot in it, it goes down.
