I have a 2003 Ford F250 7.3L and it looks like the Turbo Pedestal Base Orings are leaking. I am looking for a kit to make the repair but my ford dealer says the kit is obsolete. They stated that I would have to look for an aftermarket kit.

The Ford Part number is F81Z6N653AA.

Does anyone know where to get this ORing repair kit?

Stupid ford parts guys.

Of course they are still available.

Dieselorings sells them for a good price. Or any of the other popular vendors.

They come in a black of 4.

Two orings for the under the pedestal and two for top part.

Only tighten the 3 pedestal bolts to 17 ft lbs.

There is a strong possibility that Ford does not stock these O rings anymore but then that is what the aftermarket supply lines is for.

If you put that part number into a Ford dealers parts data base it comes up zero results.

F81Z6N653AA is the part number for I don't want to look.

F4TZ-6N653-A & F4TZ-6N653-B are the respective numbers for pedestal & block and pedestal & turbo O-rings.

Any plumbing shop or hardware will have BunaN o-rings, but Viton is a better material for the application. Generally have to go to a hydraulics shop to get those. But the numbers in that post are the sizes you need.

To the OP: I'd suggest you use something other than your e-mail address as a username. You'll get spam e-mails out the wazoo, because the spiders crawl around the web harvesting anything that looks like an e-mail address.

You'll have to PM Administrator to get your username changed.
