what do you actually have? it will work fine if you have enough stuff.

well it looks like you have the most critical stuff. the pedestal is also the oil drain and it goes in where the CDR goes now -- the tuna can on the back of the intake. I believe you're supposed to punch some holes in the baffle (which IIRC you can do via that hole) to permit the additional oil to drain down. The CDR gets relocated to the valve cover - not sure where to get one with the hole in it, the ATS kit used to come with it and the truck that your turbo came from had one :)

since you didn't get an airbox it might be easier for you go to pull a CDR from a GM 6.5 and plumb it into a custom intake, also like I did. I just bought a long piece of preformed 1" hose (with a 90 degree in it) and plumbed it in with the right goodies. The GM CDR has nipple connections on the way in and out, where the Ford CDR has a flange. At least, that is true of the one you have now; from the picture it looks kind of like the Ford factory turbo CDR has a nipple output.

oh yeah, and the oil feed comes off where the oil sender is now, on the top rear deck of the block on the pass. side IIRC (only slightly offset.) You can tee it there to keep the stock oil pressure sender, or install a real oil pressure gauge there.

...and you will need some exhaust fabrication unless you have more pipes not pictured; any competent exhaust shop should be able to do it.

The oil feed is suppose to come directly off a main oil galley, it doesn't come out from the oil sender location. Driver's side, rear of the block there's a 1/4" pipe plug that's removed and a stainless steel (woven) AeroQuip line is plumbed in. There's also a coolant drain plug in that same area, which of course you don't want to remove. Not counting the muffler and exhaust pipes, the ATS parts list for the particular turbo you have is exactly 50 parts total. If you're not aware of the fact, ATS made the turbo kits that came from the FoMoCo factory on the turboed '94 7.3's.

Maybe on an aftermarket kit..Mine is factory original and the oil feed line is from the sender port at the back of the block on top. And the oil pressure sender is at the 'block" at the top of the turbo.

Better picture after I installed autometer gauge.

I haven't even managed to get my head down there to find out but it sure does seem like my ATS 088 is getting its oil from a tee there.

Right, Chuckster, but evidently Ford went the cheapest route or maybe quicker installation on the engine ass'y line rather than going with the flex line. ATS made an upgrade from their previous non-wastegated kits. All their wastegated aftermarket kits came off the main oil galley. Like the truck shop owner who sold me my kit back in '93 said, a bit quicker oil pressure to the turbo bushings on startup. Also easier installation for sure, you don't have to remove and remount the oil sender.

Alec, the ATS part number for the oil feed line is DSLOO138 if they still offer it. If not, it's AeroQuip common line and common fittings from any hydraulic or parts house or truck shop.

Since mine is factory, the D/S exhaust crosses over to the P/S and then they go as one to the turbine. If you need me to, I can try to take pics and post them.

I can't remember if the P/S exhaust manifold is one piece for the cross over or if it has another exhaust piece if that makes sense.

Don't mean to hijack this thread but Chuckster what is the black hose coming out of the center of the intake? Mine just has a plug.

When I installed my boost gauge, I used that port. I have since moved it to the wastegate actuator line. faster response on the gauge.

Here you go

if you could that would be great, i can get the manifolds but i cant pind the pipes that go to the turbo
First pic is view from top. Turbo bolts to up pipe with four studs. My down pipe is different than what you have (factory) since I was able to buy the upgraded stuff:

Next is looking up on the D/S where the crossover pipe bolts to the D/S manifold.

Next one is looking up where the crossover bolts to the casting that is attched (bolted) to the P/S manifold:

and here is the best view I could get of the casting that is bolted to the P/S manifold and the crossover and the top is where the turbo is mounted.
