I have an 03 f-350 with 75k miles. When I am in overdrive on the highway and I step on it to go past a car, the turbo boost gauge will start jumping around until I make it downshift. Its only when the boost is in-between 15 and 20 psi. If I step on the gas harder (still in overdrive) and get the boost over 20 psi it will quit. This is the only time that it does it. It idles fine, if you step on there is no hesitation, it hasn't lost any power or fuel mileage. I replaced oil and oil filter and both fuel filters and it still does it. It doesn't make any sense because it runs great. Its just in that boost range it studders. Any thoughts?

There is also no black smoke like I have been reading. I keep seeing egr or turbo vanes, but I guess there is no way of knowing which for sure.

Sounds like the veins are sticking but with it only in a certian range is odd. Maybe it's related to the VGT solenoid.

Please help!?

I have noticed a bit more white smoke on start-ups than usual. It seems to only do it when the truck has been sitting for a day or so. If the truck has been driven it doesn't do it. I have no idea if its related. Please help
