My truck's turbo was surging this weekend while towing our 33' travel trailer (9500 lbs) through the mountains of northern Pa. The truck was running around 2500 rpm with around 20 psi of boost and the turbo would surge. The boost gauge would change with the turbo surges. Then the boost gauge would malfunction and the needle would be pinned to the extreme left. The condition continued the entire trip when going up the steep hills and this condition is new. The surging would sometimes change if I let of the gas and applied full throttle, which caused the trans to change gears and the engine to run faster. The truck did lose power during the surges. The truck was running a coolant temp of around 220 deg and a oil temp of 230 during the surging. The truck has 130k good running miles. Please help. Thank you
