I have an exhaust leak right where the driver side up pipe meets the turbo. I have no boost pressure because of this. Is there a donut in there i can change? should i have my ford dealer do this or is it too easy and they will charge alot?

It is fairly simple to replace. There is a donut, but you better buy a new up pipe also. It wears where the donut is.

Its not necissarily an easy job... Just get bunch of extensions and a 10mm wobble socket or a u joint, the drivers side is the easiest.
I would get the gaskets from a IH dealer if theres one close. Local IH dealer gets 6 bucks for em, Ford wants 13, go figure /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

the turbo spins just not fast enough for boost...would it be okay to drive the truck anyway? or is that bad for engine?

That depends on how bad the leak is. I had a bad leak on my turbo and I could get EGT's crazy fast, even in the stock setting. Are you stock? Do you have a pyro?

It probably won't hurt to drive it easy, but don't floor it, and don't tow heavy until you know you're building the proper amount of boost.

Im totally stock. But really miss driving it. I was told to not drive it because at first i thought the turbo crapped. Now i found this leak and want to at least drive it to work.
