when i remove the air intake tube from the turbo and look in is the blades i see gonna be the blades that i would replace if i bought a wicked wheel

Yes that is the compressor wheel.
To remove the wheel you will need to remove the compressor housing. Fairly simple task just in a tight area. Check out you tube there are several videos documenting this process. You will need an impact wrench to get the wheel off the shaft. Takes about an hour if you are on top of it and have tools right there.
