turbo whistle??

i had a mbrp turbo back system put on last week, no cat.

sounds great, thing is this morning the turbo whistle didnt sound right.

normally when at idle you can hear the turbo, but this morning you could only hear the rumble of the exaust, sounded like a gasser.

while driving it would take a few seconds for the turbo whistle to kick in and it didnt seem as loud as before.

well i got where i was goin and when leaving it started acting right again.

anybody ever had this happen?

That has happened to me, and I think it is related to the EGR not working right. When my EGR clears itself, response is much better and it whistles at idle. But when it is clogged up, I lose the whistle at idle, but it seems fine under load.
