have a 2000 f250 and while putting some running lights on the posts of the nerf bars i noticed on both the passenger and driver side of the truck right behind the wheel well liner there are two (one on each side)two prong electrical hook ups that are hung out of the way and not currently hooked up. they look to have factory ends, but i cannot tell what they belong to. it would be sweet if they are for running lights anyone have any clue what they are?? any info would be appreciated

I'm not 100% about this, but I belive they are for the factor running board light option.

Wire colours? Possibly for 4WABS if your truck isn't equipped....

that is what i am hoping for, anybody know the wiring colors they should be for running lights what type of plug fits the other end

The factory running board lights turned on when the door opened so you could see where to step. They will only be on if you drive with your door open. Might want to save yourself the time and just wire it yourself properly.

thanks for the quick reply haul_n. i already had it pretty much wired myself when i found those connections. i will just finish what i started
