On the transfer case linkage, what is a good way to push out the barbs from the nylon bushings? I tried using a small gear puller but didn't work that great. Maybe push a thin sleeve over and down the barb?
It's easier when warm, but I usually just use a prybar between them. If it won't pop off, I remove the nut from the t-case shaft, pull the bellcrank off, and swing them around so I can get more force on the prybar.
Always be VERY careful on the shifter end - they're known to just break off.
