this is a bit long but its better to have all the info i think.
I converted my 97 f350 cc 4x4 to a dually. I replaced the rear axle with a dually axle. the donor axle was an open diff so i swapped in my LS diff but retained the donor ring gear to match the pinion. after the swap the rear was checked by a shop for backlash etc.
I installed arrowcraft dually adapters on the front to accomodate the wheels
I have an unbearable vibration or shaking that I can not track down. Feels like a ply sep or a bent rim. I rotated them all in and out with no luck. Gave up and purchased 6 new cooper tires mounted and balanced. Still shakes!!!
Checked all u joints, driveline, steering, u bolts etc etc still I nor any shop can locate vibration or shaking. I am exchanging the dually adapters in hopes that this is it but I have my doubts
Any help out there?
I drove 6 hours yesterday and i felt like i had drove a week solid on my harley.
