IMG_20191010_174454_1570841460305.jpg When I was looking under my 7.3 I noticed a connection hanging down that was located below the steering column. I also noticed an oil leak that I attached an image for as well. If anyone knows what either of these could be it would mean a lot. Josh.

Has the engine block heater been replaced? That disconnected plug looks similar to the one that connects to the heater element. I don't recall that the stock heater cord has a right angle connector on it.
Have you tried finding the other end of the disconnected wire?

I couldn't tell ya, I'm new to the truck still and there is a plug at the grill that the guy said is for a block heater. I haven't followed back the unplugged one yet, it might be pretty tough. I have a million wires under my hood because the truck was setup for plowing and I need to tear then out. Not sure where to start though.

I can't see your picture too well but since I am on a phone but the block heater cord will look like a round extension cord. It aslo connects right above the oil filter

I think Kevin nailed it, Old block heater cord. Is the oil leak up near the brake master cylinder? Check the Power Steering fluid return line from the Master Cylinder to the pump. This is a simple hose that can deteriorate over time.

If you want to edit your profile from your phone, when you’re on the TDS go to top left of your screen and touch the menu where you go to select forum, sign, etc. Go to the bottom of the menu and select “ exit enhanced mobile view”. Then on the next page select “Menu”, then “Full Version”, and then “User CP” . When that page opens you will see all available edits and selections for your profile.
