10-4 Saftman, I've been wanting to share some of these photos of our trucks for some time, just been one of those time things. I'm currently working on a '78 Freightshaker cabover like my buddies baby blue dream. I actually sell Peterbilts but there never was a nicer cabover than those. Now don't get me wrong, I have a huge softspot for a needlenose Pete too. Take care neighbor.

Thanks Ryan, we try to be different. I see you have a little rebel in yourself too with that cool avatar. Check out my buddies baby blue cabover if you want to see rebel. He traded a nice 4 year old Pete 379 loaded out for that cabover. He definitely gets alot of attention.

One of these days I will suck it up and install lights in my rear bumper like that. Do you just tape off around where you are cutting to keep from peeling the chrome?

I like that cabover that's all chrome... never seen one like that before.

When I cut the holes I used a grinder and used a cutting wheel and a sanding wheel to get the holes just right. I didn't tape it off or anything, and didn't have any issues with the chrome peeling or chipping. You do have to be careful not to hold the grinder on one spot for too long to avoid overheating the metal, making it turn all sorts of colors. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif
