Our new 2016 Ford F-350 Diesel has upfitter switches...The four blunt cut wires are located to the left of the steering wheel and below the instrument panel....How do you remove that plastic dash to get behind it ??? Does it just pop out.????
Thanks

Why are you wanting to remove the plastic dash?
The upfitter switches are prewired over to the area that you referred too. Their are also a bundled set of wires that run thru the firewall. That way in case you want to run something inside the truck you can connect inside the truck and if you need to connect to something outside of the truck you can connect to the wires going thru the firewall. Hopefully you already figured this out.

upfitter switches

Reading some of the other posts, with pictures led me to believe to remove the plastic cover ... Went to my ford dealer and he removed the side of the instrument panel and showed me the relay's ,.. The short wires were in there but you had to feel for them....At least now I know where to hook up back up lights and the interior lights for the cap..
Thanks

Sounds good, I am glad you are good to go now. I have my outside lights wired to one of the switch's. Thanks for the reply.

My 08 F250 didn't come with upfitter switches, so I am trying to install them. I bought the upfitter switches, but now I either need to buy the wire harness/fuse/relay box that connect to the back of the upfitter switch box or perhaps I have the wire harness/fuse/relay box (IDK). In looking at the internet and forums, it appears the wire harness/fuse/relay box is on the driver side instrument panel above the emergency break.

So I pulled the side panel off, and took a picture. Is the black box circled in red the wire harness/fuse/relay box?
