Need some advise as to what may be my problem.
Started to consume alot of oil 6 quarts in the last 1600 miles. Checked turbo for slop and there is none and checked fuel filter bowl for oil. Fuel looked to be normal in color filter was dirty, but was due to be changed. Engine is not smoking other than at start up. Did notice once a puff of smoke when engine was warm at start up. Exhaust fumes seems to be rich at idle. Removed oil fill cap and noticed alot of blow by. Have not done any test as of yet. Would like to do a compression tests but can not seem to locate a kit. If you have no oil leaks, then the first thing I would do is a compression test. Might have a busted oil ring. If injector o rings are leaking, it could cause high oil consumption I think. Need to have some one else chime in here to verify what I am saying.
