Lately, I've noticed my truck is accelerating very sluggishly. Like over the last few days I've begun to notice. My engine is running/sounding fine with no injector/ficm problems and nothing seems out of the ordinary for it besides the new straight pipe sound. At first I am thinking it is in my transmission but I'm not so sure now as it isn't slipping and my RPMs are normal. Just some of the gears seem longer than normal. I hear doing a flush may help but my fluid looks fine and the tow/haul light isn't flashing. It literally feels like I have a semi trailer on the back of it like merging into traffic sucks and I get honked at like I'm driving like grandma. Last week it was driving fine and come the weekend is when it began acting up. Really don't get what could be causing it. I'm a little hesitant about a WOT because I feel like something could break as to how sluggish it is. Should I take it to the dealer to have them do a tranny flush and PCM flash? I've posted on other fourms and have gotten no responses. I just need some input ASAP.
