The other day I noticed that my dash guage fluctuating between the RM and L in NORMAL. Sometimes it goes higher. This prompted me to test the battery terminals and alternator terminal, at which point I noticed that I was getting voltage fluctuations between ~13 and 15.9 volts. I then turned the motor off and tested the batteries again, getting about 13.8 volts at the terminals. Looks to me like the voltage regulator on the alternator is giving out? I also noticed that the check battery light had been flickering while driving.
Any thoughts? Thank you all in advance!
