That is the best noise I can make. Man I got to drive my truck today.
That thing has been sick since I got it. Now that it back together it runs like never before.Just thought i'd share cya Tate

The bill... Nothin yet. He just asked if wanted to drive it...What should I look for?

I haven't been where you are now with a fresh motor just put back together, but here are a few things I've picked up.....oil pan seal is tricky, mech. only gets one shot @ doing it right. oil cooler o-rings. Head torque is critical....ask your mech, his procedure and torque values....fuel lines in the valley, hpop gear nut tighten correctly....all injectors and glow plugs tightened to the correct torque values...bell housing bolts to the correct torque....

I can see how excited you are. See what Steve Baz says here about breaking in a new diesel engine.
