Ok I have changed my ABS sensor on the diff case but they have a VSS sensor that I was told goes on the trans? Anyone change this before? Where is it?

It is longer than the ABS sensor on the diff case and has a square shaped rod sticking out the one end.

The sensor on the diff is the VSS, it also is the ABS input too. That is where the ABS Module gets the speed reading for the speedo

The one on the transmission is the output shaft sensor, and you should find it on the R/H rear of the case up towards the top.

OK so the other VSS they gave me doesn't go to this truck? so if the OSS is messed up would it screw up my ABS and Brake light? The VSS on the diff fixed the speedo and OD light flashing and bad shifting but not the ABS or Brake light.

The ABS light on the IDI's can indicate low fluid in the Master Cylinder, Might want to check that, and the vacum pump going bad. CDNSARGUY has the 2 part test in his photo gallery. The same pump is used on the OBS PSD's.
