A budy of mine has A 97 PSD 160,000 on it I was rideing with him and noticed a wisleing noise like a boost leak his gage reads like 15lbs of boost when this hapens he said he put new hoses on and i confermed that all his hoses where tight please help it is a very anoying noise mods include TS 6 way cold air and fuel pres shim kit thanks

It could be surge. Is it kind of a pst pst pst pst pst sound in rapid succession? If so, then there is your culprit. Do a search on surge. I think you'll find that you want to get your buddy to fix the problem soon, because it is harder than hell on his turbo.
